Congratulations to our 2026 Youth Advocate Award Winner
Clint John, Jr.
Miami Norland Senior High School

Clint A. John, Jr. is a ninth-grade student at Miami Norland Senior High School and a nationally recognized youth leader from Miami Gardens, Florida. Raised in a single-parent, immigrant household, Clint’s work is grounded in the belief that young people should not just study leadership and civic life but actively practice it.

He currently serves as Executive Director of Virtutem Populo, Inc. (Latin for ‘Virtue to the People’), a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing civic education and youth leadership across Florida, which he has cultivated by raising the bar of development to $96,000 to $157,000 and engaged thousands of students through hands-on programs, policy advocacy, and community partnerships.

Clint has worked alongside local and county leaders, advised education decision-makers, and spoken at civic and educational events across Florida and beyond. A 4.0 student, his leadership and service have earned national recognition, including the U.S. President’s Award for Educational Excellence and the U.S. President’s Volunteer Service Award (Gold). Clint brings energy, clarity, and purpose to every space he enters, amplifying voices, building bridges, and proving that youth leadership is not a future concept, but a present reality.
