Christopher Page

President - Page by Page National Book Drive Program

In collaboration with the 2025 Advocacy Dinner and Awards Ceremony Partner, Walmart, we presented this year’s Youth Advocate Award on April 14, to Christopher Page for advocacy efforts and work to foster childhood literacy across the state and beyond.

Christopher Page is dedicated to improving childhood literacy through educational initiatives and advocacy efforts. As the President of Page by Page, a youth-led literacy organization which has circulated over 750,000 books to underprivileged children, Page has worked tirelessly to ensure that every child has access to the tools necessary for academic success.

Page’s commitment to childhood literacy stems from his own upbringing, having grown up in a community where access to books was scarce. Motivated by the challenges he faced, Page spearheaded multiple projects for Page by Page National Book Drive Program, including book collections, pop-up book fairs, and virtual libraries, allowing children the privilege of choice to ‘shop’ for their own books. His efforts encouraged a love of reading among children who otherwise would have limited access to educational resources.

This recognition for Page is particularly meaningful as it highlights a family tradition and longstanding dedication of service. His sister, Lauren Page, was a past recipient of the Youth Advocate Award in 2022. Page is addressing the critical role that books play in early education and child development. His innovative approach to overcoming these access barriers and his passion for helping children will leave a lasting impact on countless communities for many years to come. Page is also a varsity swimmer and member of this school’s varsity water polo team.
